Abstract
PT. Trias is a leading company in integrated energy business. Quality problem is always been a main attention to the company. Problem that is happening now is defects found protection indeks in TIS LOVO panel. This problem have not been treated well because of the lack of quality control method in there. DMAIC Method was choosen because it can help the company analyze and found the root cause of the quality problem of protection indeks TIS LOVO panels. The data has been taken from November 2015 until July 2016 to analyze the DPMO and Sigma level of the production TIS LOVO panels. Pareto and Fishbone diagram were the main tools to find the root cause of the problem. After analyzing using DMAIC, there were 3 kind of defects that. There were functional defects, visuall defects, and Components defects. After the root cause has been detected, improvement method using DMAIC would be proposed to the company as a suggestion for improving the quality of PT Trias product.
